The Lookout Service
Established in 2018, The Lookout Service is a promising young band with a thunderous sound based on raw two-piece energy and chemistry. The Toronto duo comprised of Stergios Kalochoridis (vocals & guitar) and Robert Ragazzo (drums), began playing together in high school, and have grafted themselves into one of the most exciting live bands in Toronto's underground scene. The group's humble start in storage rooms and garages has helped them to create a uniquely live sound (both on and off record), demanding the attention of the listener and reassuring that guitar bands are far from dead. The Lookout Service's sound has been compared to that of the The White Stripes, Death From Above 1979, Royal Blood and Reignwolf with an amped yet raw feel. In part, the extensive gigging that the band has done across the Greater Toronto Area over the past few years (in classic venues like Lee's Palace, Sneaky Dee's and The Horseshoe Tavern to name a few), has established them as one of the most magnetic and tantalizing young bands of today. 2021 promises to be the most exciting year for the band, with the release of their new single 'Shut Me Out' and the promise of more new music later in the year.
